Mount Washington's older homes lie in an area of northwest Baltimore built around a mill town, and their classic construction is feeling the ravages of time.

These new homeowners wanted to restore their home to its former glory days, when life was lived on the front porch. However, all the wood trim and columns were showing the effects of many years of benign neglect.

In Progress: Porch columns and wood trim received special treatment.
They were scraped and sanded beyond standard prep to achieve the finish the homeowners were looking for.
Below right: The finished porch is a showpiece.
   
 

 

Mt. Washington 2  

This home received a complete overhaul with freshly painted brick and siding, chimney, doors, shutters, windows, and all trim. Cement patios and walkways were also powerwashed for a fresh appearance.

Cheswolde/Pimlico
The Cheswolde residential area near the Pimlico race track is home to some classic bungalows. This homeowner had dreamed of having a green house for years. We worked with her to get just the right shade, one her husband could live with!
